Katie’s love of real estate started at a young age when moving around was a normal part of life. When she got older, she realized that having a father as a custom home builder was a good part of why she lived in 10 homes by the age of 18. She knows the ups and downs, new features, and new construction, followed by packing, cleaning out, and all the “fun stuff” of a move. She knows what can make the process as smooth as possible.
Working as a sales manager for Stan Siegfried custom homes was her first real taste of real estate in 2002, and just blossomed from there. She decided to expand into resale, and so began her career with Coldwell Banker Gundaker in 2005, as well as the Susie O. Johnson team in 2006.
Graduating from Missouri State University with a BS in Psychology, Katie has a mission to understand what people want and need. Working with clients one-on-one helps encompass this passion in the world of buying and selling homes. Her expertise ranges from first-time buyers to luxury homes. Her bubbly personality and attention to detail are some of the reasons her client base has grown through referrals and repeat clients throughout the years. They know she is thorough, knowledgeable, and has their best interests in mind.
Living in the metropolitan area for the majority of her life has helped Katie expand her knowledge of different areas and neighborhoods. She has personally owned 3 homes and rehabbed them all to the next level. When she’s not running around for work or resting at home with her expanding family, you’ll most likely find her in a barre or yoga class. She works hard at everything she does and we are proud to have her on the team!
